Your meal program has two components: Meal Plan and Board Bucks.
Meal Plans
Meals-Per-Week:
This is the number of meals you expect to eat per week out of the 19 served at University Dining's dining halls or quick service eateries. Your choices per week are 8, 10, 12, and 14 meals per week.
Block Plan: This plan gives you 100 or 160 meals per semester, instead of a predetermined number of meals per week.
Dining Hall Freedom Pass: This plan allows you to eat as often as you want. There is no limit to the number of meals per semester and multiple visits during the same meal period are allowed. This plan now includes one meal equivalency per meal period. Restrictions apply.
Board Bucks
Board Bucks are like dollars that you can spend at University Dining locations--including convenience stores and vending machines--in any way that you like. Plus, you receive a 5 percent discount at the register!
Choose from $100, $200, or $300 per semester. Board Bucks are optional if you choose the 14 meal plan, the 160 meal Block Plan or the Dining Hall Freedom Pass.
Additional Details
All first-entry students in campus housing are required to be on a meal plan during their first two semesters, regardless of academic standing. Changes to your fall plan can be made until September 30, 2008.
Once you've signed up for a plan, you automatically will be enrolled in the same plan for the spring semester unless you notify us via our Web site or in person at our West Dunn offices between November 1 and January 31st.
To receive regular updates from University Dining, sign up for e-minders.
