How can find out if there are any new locations on campus?
University Dining is constantly adding new locations around campus. Check under the News and Announcements section of our web page to find the latest additions.

How can I find out where the dining locations are on campus?
University Dining has a variety of locations throughout the campus. We have dining halls on East, Central, and West Campus, Port City Java cafes, food courts featuring nationally known brands, a sports restaurant, and convenience stores.
What dining locations are available on Centennial Campus?
University Dining has three locations on Centennial Campus, including two C-Stores and a Port City Java. In the future, University Dining will expand their operations on Centennial Campus to include a more full-service eatery.

Are there any dining locations located near the Vet School?
Yes, the Vet School Cafe is located on the BioTech Campus, inside the Small Animal Hospital.

Yes, there are several dining facilities on West Campus, near Wolf Village Apartments, including two C-Stores, a Port City Java, Fountain Dining Hall, and the McKimmon Corner Cafe.

There are several dining facilities on Central Campus, including Talley Student Center Food Court, the Atrium Food Court, Case Dining Hall, the Creamery, Hill of Beans, and two C-Stores.

There are several dining facilities on East Campus, including Clark Dining Hall, a Port City Java, and two C-Stores.
What dining facilities are located near West Campus?
There are several dining facilities on West Campus, including two C-Stores, a Port City Java, Fountain Dining Hall, and the McKimmon Corner Cafe.
Can everyone eat at Case dining hall?
Case Dining Hall is only open to students on a University Dining Meal Plan who live in Avent Ferry, Wood, Carroll, Bowen, Metcalf, Turlington, and Alexander for breakfast, brunch, and lunch.
Case Dining Hall is open to all athletic meal plans holders, including student-athlete meal plans, coaches plans, and administrator plans for all meals, including Training Table Sunday-Thursday. Case also accepts patrons using campus card accounts and also now accepts cash for breakfast and lunch.
How can I found out what special events are taking place at each dining hall?
University Dining hosts many special events and theme dinners throughout the academic year. View our calendar of events to check out important upcoming dates.
What is the C-Store Circular?
The C-Store Circular is a quarterly publication that highlights new and exciting items in our C-Stores, including Wolf-Approved Items.
Menus
Where can I find dining hall menus online?
Dining hall menus are posted daily, and includes information such as vegan options, Chef's Creations, Wolf-Approved and Trans-Free Items.
If I have comments about the menu, where can I voice my opinion?
University Dining would like to hear from you. To rate items on the daily menu, go to Online Menus, select the dining hall that you visited, and click on the icon that says "Rate this Menu," located in the top right of the page.
If I have special dietary needs, such as peanut or gluten allergies, how do I know which food items I can eat?
University Dining strives to accommodate special dietary needs. To find more information about allergens visit the Nutrition section or contact our dietitian, Lisa Eberhart.
I am very health conscious, where can I find a menu with low calorie meals?
To find caloric and other nutritional information for menu items in our dining halls, scroll over the item on the online menu. Five-hundred calorie menu items are available in all our restaurants on campus, to find these options click on a restaurant location, like Talley Student Center Food Court.
What does Wolf Approved mean?
If you're looking to make smart food choices, we make it easy to spot healthy snacks in our vending machines, C-Stores, and restaurants. Look for the Wolf-Approved Paw Print, and you can be assured that it's a healthier choice that is low in fat, low in sugar, high in fiber and has zero trans fats.
What type of food does Port City Java offer?
Port City Java offers rotating menu items that include sandwiches, wraps, pitas, and salads. To view the daily menu along with tomorrow's menu, visit the Port City Java page. Scroll over each menu item for nutritional information.
Do you offer vegetarian/vegan options in the dining halls?
University Dining is committed to helping vegans and vegetarians meet their nutritional needs while eating on campus. You can:
- Look for the vegan and vegetarian icons next to offerings by viewing our online daily menu
- Visit with our dietitian, Lisa Eberhart, to ensure you are meeting your daily nutritional needs
- Join our Vegetarian/Vegan Focus Group, which meets monthly. Contact our dietitian for details
Do you serve organic options at the dining halls?
Yes, check out our dining hall salad and fruit bars on Wednesday for local and/or organic options, which may include broccoli, spring mix, red onions, green peppers, carrots, white mushrooms, baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, apples, grapes, oranges and more!
Meal Plans
Where can I find the equivalency rates for each dining location?
Equivalency rates are used in our campus restaurants. Meal plan holders, may use an equivalency rate once during each meal period.
Walk-in Rates:
- Breakfast $5.85
- Lunch $7.35
- Dinner $7.85
Equivalency Rates for Each Meal Period:
- $4.75 for breakfast
- $5.85 for lunch and dinner
Maximum of two bottle beverages with equivalency purchases
If I need to change my meal plan, how long do I have to do it?
In the fall semester, changes to your meal plan can be made until September 30. In the spring semester, changes to your meal plan can be made until January 30. Changes to your meal plan can be made online or through the AllCampus Desk in the West Dunn Building.
What is the difference between Board Bucks and AllCampus?
Board Bucks are designated for dining purposes only. Board Bucks can be used in campus restaurants if you go over your equivalency rate for a meal period, if you want to purchase an additional meal in the dining hall, if you want to purchase items in a C-Store, or if you want to purchase an item in a vending machine.
AllCampus funds can be used all over campus. Locations include:
- Carter-Finley Stadium
- Health Services
- NCSU Bookstores
- University Dining restaurants, dining halls, coffee houses, and C-Stores
- Parking Services
- Vending Machines
- Veterinary Medicine
- Ticket Central
- Wolfcopy

How many Board Bucks should I purchase?
Refer to the Meal Plan Guide and use the Build Your Own Plan worksheet to decide what meal plan and Board Bucks option is right for you.
How do you I know which meal plan is best for me?
Examine your class schedule and eating preferences to determine the correct plan for you. Refer to the Meal Plan Guide and use the Build Your Own Plan worksheet to decide what meal plan and Board Bucks option is right for you.
If I have Board Bucks left over from the fall, can I use them in the spring?
Yes. Just be sure to adjust your spring selection so that you don't end up with too many at the end of the academic year. Board Bucks will not roll over from one academic year to the next.
Am I automatically signed up for the same meal plan spring semester?
Yes. Unless you tell us otherwise, we will continue your fall selection in the spring. It is important to assess your Meal Plan choices at the end of the fall semester to make sure you are satisfied in the spring. You can still make changes to your spring Meal Plan until January 31, 2010.
Can I purchase more Board Bucks if I run out during the middle of the semester?
Yes. You can stop by our office or access the AllCampus Network online to purchase more Board Bucks using your credit or debit card.
Am I required to be on a meal plan each year that I attend the university?
No, only first year students that are living on campus are required to have a meal plan.
Can I cancel my meal plan if needed?
Yes, unless you are a first year student who is required to be on a meal plan. To cancel your meal plan, click here.
What meal plan would you recommend for a student living off campus?
Students living off campus are not required to have a meal plan, but could purchase a smaller meal plan like an 8 Meals-Per-Week plan or a 100 Meal Block Plan. Students living off campus could also add money to their Board Bucks or AllCampus account for University Dining expenses.
Can anyone partake in the Pack & Go Program at the dining halls on campus?
Yes, the Pack & Go Program is University Dining's carry-out program for our dining hall facilities. Students can purchase a Pack & Go container from a dining hall location for a one-time $3 fee. Simply return the containers for a small token that can be redeemed next time you want to utilize Pack & Go.
Can I use one of my meals from my meal plan at the Creamery?
Yes, the Creamery accepts Meal Plans, Board Bucks, AllCampus, cash, or credit. Wolfpack-to-Go Items including sandwiches, wraps, and pitas are now featured at the Creamery.
Can I use my meal plan off campus?
No, University Dining Meal Plans are only accepted at campus locations.
What is the Wolfpack-to-Go Program?
Wolfpack-to-Go is University Dining's branded line of sandwiches, wraps, pitas, and salads that are made fresh on campus each morning and deployed to campus locations. Wolfpack-to-Go items can be found at the Hill of Beans, the Creamery, the McKimmon Corner Cafe, and the Vet School.
Can I use my meal plan in the C-Stores?
If you have classes on Centennial Campus, the Shuttle Inn Cafe and the Periodic Table C-Stores accept meal plan equivalencies, board bucks, AllCampus, cash, and debit cards. Meal plan equivalencies are only available on Centennial Campus because of a current lack of University Dining options. At other C-Store locations on main campus, board bucks, AllCampus, cash, and debit cards are acceptable forms of payment.

If I am interested in keeping track of my calorie intake, where can I find the calorie calculator?
Nutrition and Allergen Calculators are located in the top right corner of our online menu for each dining hall facility.
I am on a diet and would like to consult someone about my eating habits, who should I speak with?

Where can I find the nutritional information for the eateries on campus?
Nutritional information is available online for all our dining locations on campus. Click on a location to find the nutritional information.
If I am sick can I still get food?
Yes. Get Well Meal Kits are available from our C-Store locations. Follow the steps below:
- Complete and submit the form.
- Print the response page and give it to your RA, RD, or assistant director of your campus area for a signature.
- Give the form to a friend or roommate. They can then take it to the C-Store you requested to pick up your kit.
Can I find the Wolf Approved logo on most food options located on campus?
Yes. Wolf Approved logos can be found in our C-Store locations and vending machines. Online menus also feature the Wolf-Approved logo, check it out before making daily food choices.

How do I know which dining locations are open late and on the weekends?

What are the meal period hours?
Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Weekend Brunch is served from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Fast Lunch is served from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Dinner is served from 4:30 p.m. - Until Close

How do I report if a vending machine will not take my AllCampus card?
To report a malfunctioning vending machine, please fill out a contact form.
If I am looking to grab a quick snack, where can I find vending machine locations?
University Dining operates about 200 soft drink machines and 80 snack vending machines on campus, to find a location click here.
What should I do if a vending machine takes my money?
To report a vending mach malfunction, please fill out a contact form.
Are there healthy options offered in the vending machines on campus?
Yes. Look for the Wolf Approved symbol on certain food options in the vending machines.
How can I request that a card reader be installed at a vending location on campus?
To inquire about installing a card reader at a vending machine location, please contact our vending program coordinator.
Can I use my debit card in the vending machines?
No, vending machines will only take payment in the form of Board Bucks, AllCampus, cash or change.
Parent Resources
Where can I post a family recipe favorite?
Send us your favorite recipes, including a complete ingredient list, how many it serves, the preparation instructions, and a contact name and phone number. We'll do our best to select the recipes that fit within our unique production requirements, (remember, we're cooking for several hundred at a time!). Those - and their student - submitting the selected recipes will be notified and properly recognized during the meal and on our website.
Can I sign up for a meal plan online?
Yes. Fill out our online form to purchase a meal plan. Once University Dining receives your information, you will be billed through the Cashier's Office.
Employment
Does University Dining offer student employment?
Yes. University Dining has many opportunities available for student employment.
What types of jobs are offered at University Dining?
University Dining offers several types of jobs. We have front of the house positions which are customer service oriented, and includes: catering wait staff, bus staff, cashiers, fast food staff, dining hall line servers, clerical staff, and convenience store clerks.
Other positions include salad prep, dishroom attendants, stockroom helpers, and cooks. We also offer positions in our Wolves' Den, Lil Dino's, Taco Bell and Chick-Fil-A campus locations.
Earth-Friendly Initiatives
What type of sustainability initiatives does University Dining take part in?
University Dining takes part in many sustainability initiatives from going trayless in our dining halls to our newest program--composting in our dining halls. If you have ideas or questions regarding University Dining's environmentally friendly practices, please contact us by filling out our comments form.
AllCampus Network
Can I use my AllCampus card at football games?
Yes. AllCampus cards are accepted at football game concessions.
What should I do if my AllCampus card gets lost or stolen?
Immediately deactivate your card by telling a cashier at any University Dining location. If your card is later found, stop by the AllCampus Network located in the West Dunn Building on West Campus.
If you need a replacement card, you will have to pay to replace your card. To do this stop by the AllCampus Network located in the West Dunn Building.
How do I deposit money into my AllCampus account?
To deposit money into your AllCampus account, click on the Manage My ID Card icon, located in the top left corner of our web site.
To allow parents to deposit money into your AllCampus account, you must personalize your settings by granting them "Guest Access" through the AllCampus Website.
At what locations can I use my AllCampus card?

Do I have to pay a fee to open an AllCampus account?
No, there is no fee to open an AllCampus account. Your money is transferable from one academic year to the next and when you close your account, the balance of your money is refunded.
Where is the AllCampus Network located?
At the West Dunn Building, located on West Campus.
Can I use my AllCampus card in the laundry room of my residence hall?
Yes. There's no need to scrounge for quarters on laundry day. Just swipe your card in the reader at the washers or dryers, and you are ready to go.
Can I use the AllCampus card off campus?
The only location off campus that AllCampus cards are accepted is at Carter-Finley Stadium.
