July 7, 2010 (Raleigh, NC)—University Dining announces a new line up to its self-branded offerings on campus to fill a need for fresh food fast. Wolfpack-to-Go, which debuted May 24, features 52 varieties of sandwiches, salads, wraps, pitas and yogurt parfaits made daily on campus and deployed to campus restaurants carrying the brand.
These new items are being offered at the Creamery, Hill of Beans, Vet School Café, and McKimmon Corner Café, and in the future they will be offered at campus C-Stores. Wolfpack-to-Go will be a prominent fixture in the new Atrium Food Court, which will open in January 2011.
“The line up was developed and tested by University Dining,” said Kitty Lewis, director of cash operations at University Dining. “We worked hard to create a wide array of taste profiles and price points that have broad appeal.”
“I am particularly proud of the fact that we use only fresh, wholesome ingredients, and our sandwiches, wraps, and pitas are made with bread baked by the local Neomande™ Bakery,” said Randy Lait, director of University Dining.
The brand mark, which features the traditional NC State red, black and white, was developed in collaboration with University Communications.
“We’re very excited to have been involved in the creative side of these delicious offerings from University Dining,” said Stephanie G. Hlavin, interim director, University Communications.
