We know the transition to college life can be just as hectic and confusing for you as it is for your student. We’ve created this page specifically to help you better understand our dining program and to answer any remaining questions you might have.
In order for you to stay better informed, we also encourage you to sign up for our Dining E-Minder service. You will receive email reminders of deadlines, special events, and other important notices from University Dining.

At University Dining, our service reaches far beyond the serving line. We are pleased to answer any questions and offer guidance as you and your daughter or son become familiar with the many available services. Take a few moments to explore the site, and if you still have questions, please write to us or give us a call at 919.516.3090.
About Our Meal Plans
Select a Meal Plan or Make Changes
Food is personal, so choosing the right plan depends a lot on your student’s preferences and housing location. If he or she lives close to a dining hall, for example, the Freedom Pass plan is a great place to start. They can eat in dining halls as often as they like and use a meal at our restaurants and cafes up to 10 times per week through our equivalency program. But if he or she doesn’t live close to a dining hall or expects to eat in our restaurants most of the time, one of our Block or Meals-Per-Week plans might be better. Regardless of the plan you choose, you can always change it up until September 30 in the Fall and January 31 in the spring.
Meal Plan Billing
All billing for your meal plan is done through the University Cashiers Office. Please do not mail checks with your meal plan application. You should receive a statement in the mail for each semester billed. The University Cashiers Office has several billing options. Additional deposits to your AllCampus account may be made in person at our office in the West Dunn Building. Still have questions? Give us a call at 800.701.4940 or 919.515.7012.
