Get-Well Meal Kits
University Dining provides a meal option for campus residents who are not well enough to visit a dining facility or are self-isolating away from others to avoid spreading illness.
If you are too sick to get to a dining facility, University Dining will provide you a Get-Well Meal Kit stocked with non-perishable foods and drink that can be eaten at your convenience in the comfort of your room.
The kit includes items recommended by Health Services to help you on the road to recovery: Six single-serve cups of Whitehouse apple sauce, saltine crackers, 1 individual container of Cheerios, 1 Campbell’s heat-and-enjoy chicken noodle soups, 1 Healthy Choice country vegetable soup, 1 pack of Lance Toast Chee peanut butter crackers, 1 pack of Lance Toasty crackers, 1 20 oz Sprite, 2 20 oz. PowerAdes, fork, knife, and spoon.
The kit is free to meal-plan holders so long as they do not swipe a meal at a dining location during the same day the kit is requested; otherwise, a $15 fee will apply. Non-meal plan holders may purchase the kit for $15.00, which will be billed to their University account.
The kit can be modified for students with food allergies and other cultural or religious dietary restrictions. Just contact our dietitian, Lisa Eberhart.
