Hi, I’m Lisa Eberhart, the University Dining dietitian. My interns–Alice Raad and Claye Paca–and I have developed a campaign for the new year! We’re calling it “One Change,” and we hope to encourage NC State students, faculty and staff to make one change a week that will improve their health.
This six-week campaign would culminate the week of March 11, National Nutrition Month. Weekly themes include get walking, drink more water, take a class at the gym, eat more fruits and vegetables, take time to relax, and keep a food diary. We hope the NC State community will take on this challenge for the new year that could lead to lifelong changes. Weekly giveaways including water bottles, pedometers, t shirts, etc.
Come to the dining halls for chair massages, health assessments and hydration stations. We look forward to helping you make one change!
